The police have made a breakthrough in their investigation into the fatal stabbing of a student of the Vere Technical High School in Clarendon two weeks ago. Three students from the school have been arrested and charged in connection with the case.The youths who were picked up between Monday and Tuesday afternoon were charged on Wednesday.It is not yet known when they will appear in court.Our news centre has been informed that a fourth student is being questioned by detectives.On January 27, sixteen year old Alton Clarke was stabbed to death at the entrance to Vere Technical.It was reported that Alton and two other students from the school were involved in a fight when another pupil intervened.The student allegedly used an implement to stab the teenager.Alton was taken to the Lionel Town Hospital and later transferred to the May Pen Hospital where he died.
