Reputed head of the Klansman gang, Tesha Miller, is to stand trial on April 18 on assault charges. He is accused of assaulting a member of the police force, while in lock-up during last year's State of Emergency.The trial date was set Wednesday when he appeared before the Corporate Area Criminal Court.Mr. Miller is charged jointly with Keifa O'Gilvie, the son of well-known West Kingston area leader, Justin Ogilvie.The police alleged that on July 14, a policeman at the Kingston Central lock-up, attempted to confiscate a cellular phone, found in Ogilvie's possession.It is alleged that Ogilvie punched the policeman in the face.During the fracas, Miller, who was also in the cell, allegedly joined in the attack on the policeman.Both were later charged with assault.
