Minister Nelson stated that he feared that attempts to arrest Coke would have resulted in the total lock down of the commercial district in Down Town, Kingston similar to what happened when Donald "Zeeks" Phipps was arrested. In 1998 protestors mounted roadblock and chanted no Zeeks, no Peace when the former Matthew's Lane strongman who was linked to the People's National Party was taken into custody by the police. The National Security Minister added that he was not aware that coke was a reputed don.
