MONTEGO BAY, St James -- Patrons attending the remaining games in the CONCACAF Under-17 tournament at the Montego Bay Sports Complex will be asked to dig deeper in their pockets after a price hike was announced yesterday.A release from the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) yesterday announced the new admission fees for the double headers would be $200 for the bleachers and $500 and $1,000 for the grand stand.This represents an increase of between 100 per cent for the bleachers and up to 500 per cent for the VIP section.For the first round ended last Saturday, patrons paid $200 for the grandstand at the Complex and $100 for the bleachers and all seats at Jarrett Park where five games were also played.The low cost of tickets for the first round had resulted in a number of fans reacting in disbelief.The new tickets prices will see patrons paying $200 for the bleachers, $500 for the upper and lower sections of the grandstand and $1,000 for limited VIP seats.The tickets will be available as of today from the Claro outlet at the Bay West Mall and at the venue on match days.The tournament continues tomorrow and Wednesday with quarter-final games with the semi-finals set for Friday and the third place game and final set for Sunday all at the Montego Bay Sports Complex.
