Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) Caretaker for South West St. Andrew, Garnett Reid, has surrendered to the Constant Spring Police.Mr. Reid and his attorney Valerie Neita Robertson went to the police about 6:00 Monday evening, 24 hours after he was declared a wanted person.The police issued a release on Sunday which said Mr. Reid was wanted for questioning in connection with a sexual offence that was allegedly committed at his Chancery Hall residence on February 17.Another suspect implicated in the incident is now in police custody.
