Jamaican motorists will have to pay almost two dollars more for a litre of gasoline come tomorrow. The state own oil refinery, Petrojam, has announced that the commodity is to go up by $1.71 per litre. As a result, it will cost $92.02 to buy a litre of E10- 87 gasolene, while E10 -90 will be sold for $93.67 per litre. Petrojam says the upward movement is due to changes in the US Gulf Reference prices. This is the fourth straight week of increases in the prices of gasoline. Meanwhile, the price of a litre of automotive diesel oil will move up by $1.37 and will be sold for $95.66. The price of a litre of kerosene has been hiked by $1.55. It will be sold for $98.96. In the meantime, a litre of propane cooking gas will be increased by 92 cents to be sold for $37.50. And Butane will sell for $48.08 following a whopping increase of $2.64 cents.
