The case involving former Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) bus driver, Jeremy Stewart, stalled on yesterday, as two important reports which are necessary for the case to move forward were not submitted to the courts. The outstanding documents are the investigating officer's report and the accident reconstruction report.The case will again be called up on April 24, when it is expected that both reports will be presented to the Magistrate.Mr. Stewart was charged with manslaughter, after the October crash in which the bus he was driving plunged 30 feet into a ravine, near the Faith's Pen rest stop, in St. Ann.A 16-year-old school girl died, while other passengers were seriously injured in the crash. After the incident, it was revealed by the management of the JUTC, that Mr. Stewart was not authorised to drive the bus for the chartered church trip.
