Caribbean states have joined other member nations of the UN General Assembly in unanimously suspending Libya's membership in the UN Human Rights Council. Forces loyal to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi have been accused of violence against protestors in the ongoing uprising.The resolution was adopted by consensus in the 192-nation UN General Assembly.While not breaking the consensus, Cuba, Venezuala and Nicaragua disputed the move to suspend Libya.
