Knew them all,but I too as Rich was much younger than that group. I think Rusell as a tennis pro then,and i was just a neophite.
Rich I'll wager we must have crossed path,between the courts,pool, Sunday barbeques,or lounge.
I was also often over Liganeau club and of course the Pegasus.
I lived up the road,and people would just call and we would
just meet at any one of those places.

Was Linda Sarnia still on the circuit back then. Who was the stand-out female tennis player in your time?
There was Joni Van deGroot and the Harris sisters of which Michelle was one of the most beautiful of all Miss Jamaica`s
Perhaps before your time too?

The Russell Brothers now live in Florida - two of them in Pembroke Pines. Their father passed away about 2-3 years ago and their mother is now blind

I remember when the family lived on Wellington Drive. near to st`s peter and paul prep school and when the younger 2 went to Campion and played at St. Andrew Club off Marescaux Rd. in kingston
Mr. Russell the father made his home into a tennis clinic and I`m not dure how successful it was because apart from Richard and his son, Jamaica hasn`t ever blossomed a tennis star on the world stage.

Linda was a couple years ahead of me....Michelle Harris and Allison Burke were the top ladies in my time

yes...Robert hale is a few years older than me ..he used to live in T.O...we taught tennis at the same club up here

i played Doug Burke a few times as a junior( hm rough mi up bad bad)
