New UK immigration Laws to be Implemented Next Week
Sections of the British media are reporting changes in that country's immigration laws that could have far-reaching effects on Jamaican and other immigrants.
The changes, which are to be announced next week, will make it harder for Jamaicans and other nationals outside of the European Union (EU) to enter England.
Reports in the British media say, next week the British government will impose new measures to further curb foreign visitors from outside the EU entering the country.
Among the measures said to be implemented,<span style="color: #FF0000"> families in England will be required to put up a 1,000 Pounds security bond for family members seeking to visit England.
It is future reported that the usual six month stay in the country on landing, will be reduced to three months. </span>
Employers who knowingly contract illegal migrants will be fined up to 10,000 Pounds and private sector landlords will also face a 20,000 Pounds fine for renting premises to illegal immigrants.
