Melissa Rowe, PCC, MSW was born in Beeston Spring, Westmoreland in 1945. At the time of her birth, she became number seven of what would eventually be fourteen siblings in her family. As the middle child of an abusive father, she experienced and saw tremendous trauma. Having left Jamaica with a sixth-grade education, Melissa is now a counselor and bestselling author, whose passion is helping women find their power to overcome obstacles in their lives.
