it is my plan to coordinate a wave of qualified Jamaicans, inorder that they make visits to Jamaica to effect change in a number of ways

it is going to be on the grass root level, and consequently bypass the usual [censored] that come wid mobilizing the movement of people and the things they need to ,into Jamaica

i have made the inroad with the wharf, the airport and am starting to draw Jamaicans resident on the island to participate in this yearly endeavour

consequently i am issuing an ivitation to any member of Jams.com who has a skill that could be incorporated into the upliftment of the Ja society to signal their willingness to give of their time, via their usual vacation time...the idea is to identify differenct skill groups and math them with local organizations which will help to bypass the usual bureacreacy...matter of factm one group will be involved in juss that..dealing with bureacracy thereby leaving the others to get on with the jonb

i am askin if any r intereseted and if this site is interested they will signify as such

Evan break it down a bit for me,I still dont understand what the brief is,and can us un-skilled thick heads participate.

i.e. people also need to learn how to lay bricks.....the main thing is making available free of cost, teaching of skills...not everybody can afford the fees so if we have enuff volunteers we can maintain a year round skill building program.....

Learning to read, or improving basic skills... That really hits home evan... when I saw the Jamaican Dogsled Team special about Newton my heart broke watching how his previous 'mentor/coach' and his assistant look down upon Newton, almost like they were happy to shame or ridicule him - 25 yrs old and his reading skills are really limited. And to know there are so many more in the same situation. Sad.
