ok...this is getting annoying to the max now. I believe in free speech and everything, and sure, anyone can post here as long as its within the rules....BUT

when i open a page of active topics and there is only ONE post listed from an actual real living community member, something has got to give.

am i the only one who finds all these newsnow posts rude? I mean, get yer own message board! sheesh!

in the 15 minutes since i posted this.....no less than 17 newsnow posts have been listed above it in the active topics list. wait 5 mins more...its gone from the page.

depends on how u navigate the board. i always go to &quot;Active Topics&quot; and this morning for a while, there were three or four member-initiated posts at the start of the active topics list, and the rest was from OGNR and that continued for about 4 or 5 pages.

not only that, it seemed that scores of topics were blasted onto jcans.com in the space of about three mins.

i guess if u stick to the General Discussion forum, or the two or three forums that capture ur interest, then OGNR wont bother u. however, if u want to get a sense of activity across the board, then OGNR gets in the way - big time.

Bring back the Jamaica poltics forum.. and let the often irritating posts of the irrelevant continue.. If say Evan sees an interesting article then we can discuss it... I have hated the removal of the Jamaican poltics forum.. I think it belittes this forum...

i also just noticed that news that DOES pertain to jamaica is not being posted..... two important pieces of news from last week and one from today, both posted on FB, but not over here.

i gree with wahalla, the jamaican politics forum was much more relevant

just went and looked at the (apparently bran new) &quot;inbound breaking news&quot; forum - - looks like many threads were moved over there just this morning, but there's dozens of duplicate/repeat threads in there. i no get it.

but i could not find any mention of Mickey Hill from last week, nor Sonnieko Williams. and no mention that Vybz Kartel &amp; Movado done tun themselves in today in Constant Spring - all of which were reported on OGNR over on FB, plus gleaner, observer, etc, and all over other JA websites.
