As you know change is constant. Based on observations we are going to be making some changes to the forums. There will be mainly mergers of a few forums. The goal is to reduce the number of forums, scrolling and consolidate where we think like discussion can happen. The changes will take place in a few days.

thanks for the heads-up, Xavier. If any moderators will "lose their jobs" as a result of any consolidation, may I gently suggest that they be thanked for their service, and while u are at it, take the opportunity to recognize those who may have gone unthanked in earlier rounds of consolidation.

For one thing, both fora are very well populated, used and have a certain vitality independent of each other. I think this will get lost if they're merged. I've always thought the idea behind merging certain fora was to increase traffic and reduce space?
H&F & S&F have enough traffic and interest on their own. Merging them will jus mek de place too crowded. But you know couple times today I was hunting down the board for Style and Fashion. Agree with Nunya, the forums are distinct and have its own traffic and interest. So why the need to merge the two?

BTW in the combined Style and health forums, there are a total of 7 active topics in the last 7 days, and 14 total in the last two weeks.7/5th of all people do not understand fractions.Comment
