The official inaugural flying of the Jamaica Green, black and gold flag high above Franklin Field, in Philadelphia, the ubiquitous presence Jamaican Food Giant Grace Kennedy Food in a veritable sea of Jamaican flags among the roaring enthusiastic 48,871 paid spectators, the eighth largest third-day crowd in the history of the annual event on April 27th,  became the back drop for what has now become routine, Jamaica’s dominance at every level – high school, collegiate and professional, at the annual Penn Relay carnival.
