I saw the thread get lock down and it was still in the forum. It was not until after another thread was started which seemed to continue what had been locked down in the previous thread, that the two of them disappeared (the original thread + spin off thread)

So in *my* opinion, no is not because there is "Madaraytah Security Services". It's because the thread was spawning spin off thread, and it seemed that the lock down of the original thread on its own was not enough to curtail the argument(s) on the board.

Erasing de 2nd post I could overstand but de original post was locked and didn't see the reason why it hadfi get deleted as well and if it is to be deleted maybe the one upsuh shouldan delete as well.

Point is not one of we should be allowed to get away with calling a disabled person anything like that and others including one admin was more den shock at de response.
The person in question tried to refer to Tropicana but at de same time I have never seen trops talk bout smaddy dem way deh even though I strongly disagreed wid de post she had updeh.

Had to go a road not too long after the thread was started, so don't know what else transpired. The whole thing left a nasty taste though.

I do think that leaving Tropicana's thread while the other was removed, does make the moderatorship of that situation suspect.

the thread was closed. but another one popped up to continue what never finish in the closed one. Both of those threads were then removed. IMO if it was being removed to "protect the moderator" it would have been done immediately and not after the 2nd thread popped up.

In the case of Tropicana's thread, I didn't see where the arguments continued in a next thread after the first one was closed.

The threads that Dahjah is referencing had some pretty bad cussing back and forth and was not anything as civilized as that thread, imo. The 2nd one started out immediately as a continuation of the cussing...not a discussion as to why or why not the original thread should have been started.

I went an reviewed the thread in question, and very much agree with whoever shut it dung.

People who hav bin like close Family members were going at eachother like they were enemies! I mean, wi should disagree, and will, but not like dat. Dat was jus ah bad nightmare! There are many on the outside that are cheering for us to splinter and end up destroying this community, don't play into their hands!

Remember, "If there are no enemies within, the enemies outside cannot harm us."
