Why is an admin and why are moderators erasing posts that don't violate rules?

The other day KIA posted an accusation and when I attempted to respond...breaking no rules...she kept deleting my response so that only hers stood and it looked like I was saying nothing and therefore guilty.

I now see that others are also having their comments and threads that don't violate rules deleted.

Why is this happening? It is to the point that one has to take screen captures of what they post and save them.

Also I would like to see a clarification of rules. The site owner has not announced that there is a new set of rules and the old ones no longer apply.

When he has time, that would be very helpful.

I am going to take a screenshot of this in case it disappears.

They definitely weren't.

Anyway, other members are also indicating that their comments are disappearing and asking questions about it. Clearly, no one seems inclined to answer. May as well delete this thread too if no one is going to answer.
