British Government donates millions to CISOCA

The British Government has donated more than $32 million worth of equipment and supplies to the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse, (CISOCA) and the Community Safety and Security Branch of the police.
The donation includes motor vehicles, computers, refrigerators, desks and chairs, gloves, disposable gowns, examination lights and data projectors.
British High Commissioner to Jamaica, Jeremy Cresswell, made the presentation to Commissioner of Police, Rear Admiral Hardley Lewin on Friday at the CISOCA headquarters.
Mr. Cresswell said the British Government was pleased to be working with the Jamaica Constabulary Force in supporting victims of sexual abuse and assisting in the development of community safety and policing in Jamaica.
