We have to start somewhere; worry about the killer cops later.
Isn't that how they did it in America in the old west? The Texas Rangers were corrupted, ruthless, and murderous and after they wiped out most of the tough guys then honest citizens made it clear there was no place for them in a decent society.
They (the Rangers) thought it was hypocritical but they wanted to live. </div></div> That is not what happened if the West, but that is what happened in Iraq.
the west was civilized by every person requiored to carry a fire arm. so every person could defend themselves, that reduced the potential for people with guns creating havoc.
As long as they all have guns there were very few attacks. That is why jamaican police get guns to stop attacks against them. Now if the citizens get guns, which criminal will be crazy enough to try a thing against them??
the texas ranger was not there to police the citizens. they were after roving gangs of robbers.
what Jamaica has is a cpmplete different ball game.
More like shooting fishes in a barrel, with unarmed people up against armed criminals.
