Ganja in Jamaica...

So the Jamaican government has declared that the usage of marijuana, also known as weed, ganja and cannabis will be legalized sometime this year. Seems we are following on the footsteps of states in the US like Colorado which, on the first day, had people lining up as long as three hours to get a sample of the once illegal and criminalized drug. Is this a good thing for Jamaica or is it going to create a society of over-drugged, on cloud nine high weedheads who may go around committing crimes or acting erratic and irrational?
