All is quiet so far this Friday night.
Quiet yesterday too when Maddens turned up to fish a body out of the sea.
Dont know how many we will hear that didn`t make it into Saturday. So many, too many lives going...going...gone.

I also hear Mr. Perkins and a caller to his making references to incidents taken place in the tourist areas that are not being reported. Could the JLP Government have learned to manage the crime news better than the PNP has ever had?

I am afraid that Johnny Cakes was right when he said that nothing is going to change. JLP and PNP are just the same old story. El Blanco meaning blank as in blank.

Never the less it is good not having half twits still running the Govt.
The JLP have inherited a de-cultured, multi corrupt, miseducated lot, otherwise an ungovernable people all propagated by a seperatist, party first, nation last PNP dough dough intellect.

what you mean nothing going to change
you telling me, scraping out corruption from the society is not change, while people get shot for their efforts.

What exactly isnt the change

1) making tuition free for student, so they dont have no excuse to get educated is not change

2) having the PM talk on live radio to answer people questions isnt change, while the following week giving updates or progress on said quetions.

3) reducing the cost of healthcare

4) Divesting losing companies in order to give tax payers value for money

How the hell is that not change.

Yes, the jlp has to do more, but it that in the context of 20 years of mismanagement.

I would say most certainly not?
The JLP did not come in vowing that it is Black Man Time Now then start sharing everything out. I admit they have been very underwhelming but there is a marked change.
The PNP sponsored terror is eating up their Garrisons and if the JLP had start hitting the then Government hard and came in with some well mapped out way to deal with it, they would have been further down the road by now.

With a Ja$trillion and all the intuitions of Government in ruin I don't think it was possible to make as much headway as the new Government and the Citizens of Jamaica thought they could.

It is very frustrating but both you and Tuffy are right, there have been changes.

However, the general indiscipline, mayhem and snobbery stinks. Thanks to the divisions that the 18 yo previous govt sunk us into.

Where Bruce has this radio show it zeroes in on individual callers but the general population is still left out.

He needs to include everybody in the PR thus where the motivation and the political awareness will come for us as a collective people will gain forward national momentum.

Manley could motivate a nation to run behind a pack of thugs. Bruce needs to vitalize a nation out of the thuggery and on to a political competence that Manley never had.
When competence and honesty is seen we then begin to start trusting ourselves and stop the `soon come and tomorrow` rubbish that we pride ourselves in.
