Kingston and St. Andrew smouldering in smoke. The riverton city dump has been smouldering for days after what is considered to be the worst fire.
Gangsters from time to time ignite the dump into a blazing inferno so that the authorities in turn hire them and their equipment to extinguish the blaze.
So when these guys want a food, they light the place a fire and get a roast, outing it to the tune of millions of dollars.
Truckloads of landfill are needed to be thrown on the fire to extinguish it and this a prime example of hoodlums holding a nation to ransom.
Last night for the 5th or so night straight the city of Kingston was engulfed in smoke so thick that visibility dipped to less than a 100 yards.
It is amazing that greedy thugs can do this and get away with it.
Much of last week during business hours, many business places especially along the 3 Miles to 6 Miles roadway that passes the dump had to suspend activity so as not to jeopardize employees health.
This racket is just another of too many wicked, illegal and anti-social behaviour being extended on to us Jamaican citizens by a collection of thugs gone wild and let loose to roam and destroy the little that we have as a recovering developing nation.
