Three British nationals who physically assaulted a team of narcotics police at the Norman Manley International Airport last week got off lightly when they appeared in Court Monday.
The three were rapped on the knuckle instead of going to jail.
Pamela Harris, 40, her son Andre Dunkley,22, and her sister Claudette Roberts,42, pleaded guilty to assault and disorderly conduct.
The three Britons were charged after they reportedly rained down blows on two female cops and one of their male counterparts at the airport last Wednesday.
The melee started when the police approached the three Britons who were preparing to leave the island.
The police reportedly tried to search Ms Harris' wig for narcotics but she refused their request.
When the cops insisted on the search Ms. Harris began using expletives.
Things turned even uglier when one of the female cops tried to arrest her for disorderly conduct.
Her son reportedly became outraged and used a case of rum to smash the female Inspector over her head.

He began to kick the fallen cop.
One of her female colleagues came to her rescue but she was also kicked by the out of control 22 year old.
A policeman who came to assist his colleagues was also kicked by the young man.
The narcotics cops had to summon back-up from police personnel at the Airport Police Station to arrest the three.
Their attorney Charles Williams told senior magistrate Glen Brown that the three were sorry for their action.
He said they were in danger of losing their jobs back home if they remain on the island this week.
