Vendor abducted and killed in Clarendon

A vendor was abducted and then shot to death by two gunmen at Denbigh Crawle in May Pen, Clarendon on Monday night.

He has been identified as Alrick Grieg of Buckner District in May Pen.

The CCN is reporting that shortly after 10 o'clock Mr. Grieg and a woman were sitting in his car when another car in which two men were travelling drove up.

The men, armed with guns, came out of the vehicle and demanded Mr. Greig's car.

They then forced him back into the vehicle and told him to drive.

Shortly after that explosions were heard and the car crashed into a utility pole.

The kidnappers then ran from the vehicle.

Mr. Greig was found shot to death in the car.

The police were alerted, the crime scene processed and the body removed to the morgue for post mortem.

J<span style="font-size: 11pt">ust Another statistic as far as the government is concerned.
They die daily at the hands of desperate criminals while the government maintain laws that prevent them from securing themselves against eventual annihilation.

the laws as it stands today prevents the ordinary law abiding citizen from securing themselves, while at the same time allow others to have hundreds of weapons legally so that they can pay some of these same peole who are prevented to use them to make a profit for the few.

this is a crime against humanity in any civilized society. it is a crime against humanity anywhere else.
sooner or later some omne will have to give an account for all these lives. Things are changing.

This is the 21st century. this is a new dispensation.
The pendulum of justice is about to swing the opposite way. ...just wait and see. </span>

wha u mean Doc, the avg citizen cant apply for a license to bear a fire arm??

me know nuff ppl who have a licensed fire arm??

If enough of them could get it the criminals would realize that if they shoot one the rest would come after him. That would be enough to deter them. Criminals don't want to get shot. that is why they try to hide when police come. they should be just as afraid of pulling gun on ordinary folks as they are when police is in the company of other police officer's. The people who have guns don't get it to protect themselves. They got it to protect <span style="font-weight: bold">their money</span>. money is more important that black Jamaicans lives.

So these people who have the guns,do they have to sign some kind of clause to say that they will only use the gun to protect their money and not their lives....?

I`m trying to imagine a scenario where a licensed gun holder is held up by a gunman and having to ask the gunman if he can consult his gun holders handbook to see if he`s allowed to protect his money without shooting the gunman.

This should not be the case. money should not take precedent over ones life in decoding this. you wouldn't' realize that as you have confirmed though, with your retort tghough.
You on the other hand have a problem is seeing just about anything that require a little thinking.
But I will tell you that once a criminal stick the gun in your face you forget where the gun is,unless it is something you practice on a regular basis. the important thing (which i don't expect you to conceptualize) is that if enough guns are in the hands of law abiding people, the criminals know that citizens can form their own posses and locate and annihilate them in no time. It would not take too long before the criminals would want to migrate to places where people don't have guns. [/quote]
