That can only fool people who never bother to recognize that if Jamaica is not comparable to any other state close by, why would it be comparable to Singapore?
How many hurricanes have Singapore had?
How developed was Singapore at the stage the comparison started? What is the maintenance cost of roads,when one country have to replace roads every single years. Jamaica has over 12,000 miles of roads.

Singapore is in actuality a US military base,with industry sharing the Island. Singapore has a dictator that has been in power since 65'

The comparison is spot on and the tales of the economic hit man would not apply because it when Jamaica lost its way then it turned to IMF/World Blank.

By that time Menlie had already destroyed the economy and was well into his reign of terror.

Actually most Jamaicans support the death penalty in my experiene.. And most have a great disdain for all illegal drugs except cannabis... So impose this in jamaica modified to exclude cannabis and I dont think there would be that much disturbance...

The main reason why I posted the video is to look at the last minute of video #2 and all of #3. All of the videos are of interests and it basically set out how he dismantled and destroyed the Jamaican Economy based on his idiotic notions of what was good for the PNP. He was neither a Communist nor a Socialist but so-called Democratic Socialism was just a vehicle to seize power and to use that power corruptly. </div></div>

So we have every local data and scenarios that we need. the only comparison we need make with Singapore is to show the possibilities if the Jamaica was not low-jacked and derailed.

I love this.. <span style="font-weight: bold">Manley was not a Backra</span>..despite being white, yes he was in the Jamaican persective, related to each of the prominent... Just like Fidel is not... and we have leading family inflation. I want to know who these 21 families are... I really do I know when I was a kid it was 7, then 10, then 14, then 21, I have even heard of 28 families.

Manley was a naive incompetent who fell for moral hazard at best.. And i liked the guy... I mean you dont cuss out the IMF on a sunday then go and ask them for a loan 5 days later!
