Well you are telling lies, using half-truths and twisting factual events.

Now let's talk about Omar, when he made the statements I thought it was shocking and I posted it right here in this forum. It was well discussed and you wrote a letter to the Gleaner about it.
I did not know your real name so i posted the letter on the Board and sent it somewhere else, without your name but with a link to the story.
After that all hell broke loose and you accused the poster, because you did not mentioning any name of posting your name to a public bulletin board. So you are telling lies if you make the claim that Omar Davies did not say the Chinese workers were more productive than the Jamaican Labourers.

The Barbara Gloudon bit is a well known meme in Jamaica where she was discussing with a caller the working conditions at the Free Zone. In this case Ms. Gloudon was an unwilling party to the confirmation that the average Chinese Worker seems more productive than ten Jamaican workers. Nevertheless it was out in public and there was nothing she could do about it. You may not accept this because I don't have a tape but I am pretty sure it oft repeated in Jamaica.

The Jamaica Productivity Report what can I say they have a whole Bureaucracy livicated to it. It is called the Jamaica Productivity Center. The report was partially excerpted in the Jamaica Gleaner. if you don't accept the numbers then fine.

I will never cast aspersions on any member(s) postings of researchable, relevant factual information. I will always take issues with posts that seek to justify false, hodgepodge of old wives tales, historical information placed out of time and just outright lies.

However,past discussions about adams has fallen firmly into two camps,those who think he is a murderous out of control bastard who carries out,or supervises extra judicial murders on suspects,..or those who thinks he is a valuable asset to the police force and should be allowed to carry on his duties striking fear in the hearts of criminals,I happen to fall into the former camp,and has always said so,not based on any personal knowledge,but based on incidences like the braeton 7,the 27 murdered in west kingston under his supervision,and the kraal incident,to name a few.

becoming a superpower costs...
ask jamaica how dem fi sow corn and a peas dem waan reap...
j'cans are hard-working people too-- even the criminals work hard...but the positions of both countries are quite different....
but bway dem haffi open up to china right now...i'm tellin yu- yaadie haffi go learn some chinese...change up di energy roun deh...give the colonials some competition...
maximize what j-a can get out of the relationship...
gov't would have to put its foot down to make sure certain things are stipulated...i think it can benefit if done right...

I wonder how many African Labourers travel on yours or other airline to jobs in other countries.

Under a previous road and stadium Building Programme. The GOJ singed an agreement with China that stipulated the use Chinese Labour in the construction. In defending the agreement Dr. Clueless said the Chinese were more productive than Jamaican Labourers.

Turns out he was right, but some others and I objected to his public dressing down of the Jamaican workers, especially since many were already engaged in similar programmes under other contractors.

Obviously if Mr. Golding goes to sign an agreement that brings Chinese Labours to Jamaica I will still object, but make no mistake, it not China's fault that African and some Caribbean countries are so weak that they basically have to take what they can get.
It is the fault of our Governments and i don't see any move by the anti-Chinese lobby to communicate to the GOJ that we want better governance, better care of the economy so that we don't have to prostitute ourselves to get money.

<span style="font-family: 'Arial Black'">Personal knowledge</span>. The guy was always out of control, but at Spanish Town most of the cops were out of control.
One thing though I could hardly recognized him after he became (s)Adams.....LOL at least at Spanish town he did not wear that clownish get up.
I think he was no more that an Cpl or a Sgt. at Spanish town (he was a Plain Clothes Detective).
It was the 80s so it was pretty violent. Even then I cannot remember many killings and there were some memorable shootouts.
What I do know is there were at lot of torture carried out in the detective office including, electric shocks.
Same thing at Half Way Tree where I was stationed.
