Has anyone read John Maxwell's column on the acquittal? He raised some very good points. Any thoughts?
[/ QUOTE ]
That was one of his best columns.
Why should he discuss Jamaica?
Like many here he is a pedantic tribalist and right now his tribe is destroying Jamaica, so the best thing is the divert attention from the reality of life on the Rock.

SSP Reneto Adams eager to return to work
Senior Superintendent Reneto Addams is chomping at the bit as he awaits a return to regular duties.
In an interview with RJR News Thursday afternoon, the outspoken Senior Superintendent was impatient for an end to the ordeal which started after he was charged with murder in 2004.
It’s now five months after his acquittal and there is no indication of when he will be returned to his normal job functions with full pay and benefits.
Four weeks have passed since the court-mandated psychological testing and counselling ended.
Six weeks of evaluation by the force chaplain and a psychologist were to be compiled into a report and handed over to Police Commissioner Lucius Thomas.
But to date SSP Adams says he has heard nothing and to his great dismay, his fate still hangs in the balance.
SSP Adams points out that the other co-accused have been returned to duty with their full pay and benefits and he can not understand why he is still out in the cold.
Despite his concerns, SSP Adams was careful not to point accusatory fingers at the Police High Command.
He says his investigations indicate that the report has not yet reached the Commissioner's desk.
In the meantime, he feels he is left to languish on interdiction, his wages and benefits cut and awaiting a clear sign he is free to continue to do his job despite being freed by a jury of his peers.

Re: Renato Decordova Valentino Adams -update
I'm sure he's finding plenty of other things to do. He made a record, yuh know. Around the end of March I was in El Paso in MoBay buying some cds and the person I was with saw and grabbed a cd by Renato - only J$250, had to be a bargain. Friend bought it (need I say he is a cop?) and blasted it on the car stereo all the way back to Negril. The last I heard it was lent to a colleague and has not been seen since.
