I'm talking about home invasions, robberies of shops, shootings on the street, the everyday killings. Possession of a weapon by the victims does not deter the yahoos, the crazed, the macho gunmen.
You can give every citizen in Jamaica a weapon and the killings will not go down but up as long as the economy is as it has been since independence.
Throwing more guns into the equation is like throwing gasoline on a fire. </div></div>
