The Falmouth Cruise Ship Pier in Trelawny is expected to receive its first vessel in January 2011.
Mayor of Falmouth, Colin Gager says the developers have assured him that work on the pier and cruise ship facility will be completed by December.
US$121 million is being spent to construct the Pier.
The project is being undertaken by the Port Authority of Jamaica.
