Outgoing PM calls crime his greatest challenge
Outgoing Prime Minister PJ Patterson has conceded that crime and violence was the greatest challenge in his 14 years of leadership.
Mr. Patterson was speaking on RJR's call-in programme, Hotline on Thursday afternoon.
He said while the security forces have been successful in the fight against crime, the murder rate remains unacceptably high.
Mr. Patterson, who demits office next Thursday, says the fight against crime must be done on all fronts.
