Is not lie mi telling in Jamaica is commone practice to pump waste into the ocean, hence Kng Harbor and the lack of sea life and no wild dolphins around, dolpins I could see from shore as a small child in 1985. Geneva mi not meking it up, all that waste is going into the sea not infront of Rose Hall but further up take your pick either direction Trelawny or Lucea. I dont see any sanitation plant, the same thing happen to Waikikiki beach so is not Jamaica alone this happens.

They are required but the type of tanks they build if they are not monitored are usually too small for the development and when there is any backup is either flood the property with it or flood the sea. So that is where govt. have to carry out due diligence on behalf of the people, but you done know how that go a yard sometimes. Man and man get a smalls and just mek tings gwan same way. It is inherent in cases where you have coastline development, like in the Hawaii example, they have whole heap a money set aside but people use it elsewhere. So while we need the development the rules have to be followed and enforced.

som time in di late 70 or so there was some testing done and only one or two beaches in jamaica passed the generally accepted coliform bacteria level test...mi tell yuh my father nuh go inna di sea since den...mi jus pretend sey mi nevah haer bout it an dive in [img]/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
