where have i claimed to know anything about the topics under discussion? what i am pointing out in your failure to honestly analyse opposing views before supporting a conclusion (Intellectual rigour - look it up).

I have had some 40 years worth of following several subjects in which I have an abiding interest.
I have been subjected to the same shiite that passes for news that you and the general public have but unlike you and most people I HAVE looked at both sides of things because I am a communist, do read what is out there on the left.

There is very little new in U.S foreign policy and very few changes in the past 60 years.

My views correspond to those of Noam Chomsky, William Blum, and others with impeccable academic credentials and all of whom do their reading and writing from angles most people reject because they so differ from the acceptable and unreal reality.

If you want to attack my positions, you'll also have to take on Chomsky, Castro, Blum Englehardt et al l.

Again there is not much that is ever truly new.


The conclusions to which Chomsky et al have come in their writings and talks are as valid now as they always were.

History has shown them to be correct and the common &quot;wisdom&quot; wrong.

The word in this context is meaningless and misleading.

I'm an independent in that I don't have allegiances to either of the two major parties but that independent label as used by the general public only winds up meaning that you generally vote for the lesser of two evils.

If, as a self-proclaimed independent, 99% of your information upon which you make your political decisions comes from the government or corporate media sources with a token peek at a left view of the same issues, you cannot be said to be truly &quot;independent&quot;.

You have the mistaken notion that your bizarre thinking is innovative just because it is so crazy that it IS something new.

As is the case with the topic of this thread I hardly believe that you know more than the very knowledgable people whose words and thoughts are published at ZNET.

Were this the case, people would pay attention to what you post and not just to tell you how crazy you are.

Almost any topic presented in these fora will have any number of lay people who know the subject matter better than you never mind the experts who write at ZNET whom you don't read anyway.
