Jamaica to recruit one more foreign cop
The search will begin next week for a senior overseas cop who will be responsible for weeding corrupt members from the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF).
RJR News understands that the post of Assistant Commissioner of Police in Charge of Corruption will be advertised next week.
Applications will be sought from law enforcement officers in the US, Canada, United Kingdom and Australia.
The new ACP will join Deputy Commissioner in Charge of Crime Mark Shields, Assistant Commissioner Paul Robinson and Assistant Commissioner Les Green who were recruited from overseas to head key divisions in the JCF.
