Re: Criminalizing black culture....
Certain aspects of black culture has mutated. Skinheads were very close to the ska movement but became racist. This may be one of those.
We are not to blame but deep down, there is a reactionary thread in this movement.
I have had English/Irish immediate relatives for the past 50 years and I visit London often to see my grandmother. I see immigrant/black/asian resentment versus the white resentment of immigrants.Actually, I think this is natural and should not worry anyone. We see assimilation in action. Once in a while, you will see fires based on friction when the past meets the future.
Do not overreact like the US did after 9/11.

Explain your understating of this so called mutation?
History has shown where the most rabid racist were also avowed Christians or avid rapist of black women , so skinheads liking black music does not equate to liking black peoples.

Why is resentment natural?
And the accompanying friction not something to be worrisome about?

I think inaction in this case is worse than overreaction.

All things new and different that dares to express itself results in resentment and cultural reaction. I should not have to explain more about that.

It Happens all the time.....Didn't you just mention Strom Thurmon and his daughter.

RESENTMENTS ONLY come from segments of the population that have been made to think they are or to feel threatened by the new and different.

I do not care nor I am sure the source. We have reality and we must address that to advantage. While you and I postulate, time passes and the situation does not change.

So what? They feel it and act on it. Who cares if they believe lies if they act upon those lies? Time to move on.

It is only a contradiction if you think racism is based on hate....hate is a symptom of racism

Maybe if you cared you would have already identified the source, identifying the source is our best chance of rectifying the situation.
Identifying the source will also most likely reveal the motive.

I do....maybe you are just to flippant.
Who is spreading these lies?
and why?
Should be known before you move on....

I think you just wasted a portion of your life without reason. Motive? Who cares why? .
Your are on the wrong path. There is nothing logical about all this. The whole geometric logic thing does not apply.

"The unexamined life is not worth living.
You ask Who cares? I repeat I do!
Motive? provide meaning and purposes which leads to understanding the foundation of empathy and compassion the beginning of LOVE.

That is the stuff of life to those who refuse to examine it....unreasoned behavior and illogical actions.
Once a phenomenon is studied, the mystery of the apparent absence of logic and unreasoned is replaced with understanding and predictability.

Re: Criminalizing black culture....
Try to link the so called decay of British culture is not a worthwhile practice. Riots happen. Bored, unemployed, angry people riots.
I am sorry if you do not understand. All these linkings are silly and a waste of time.
It is a very hard economic time. It leads to irrational acts by normally rational people.
Fools appeal to fools and try linking. This is an old and easy tactic. People that blame blacks are scape goating. There is nothing we can do to change their minds. Very much like tea baggers in the US. We cannot respond except to defend ourslves.
No argument based on evidence can reach these people.

Really hard time leads to irrational behaviour

What then would be the best defense or the first step in defense?

Why? We can NEVER understand. Why? Stupid ideas have far more possibilities. For example, we have poor whites opposing their own employment because of Obama and advocating elimination of unemployment benefits.
We should not seek to understand those that have no rational belief system. For example, I was listening to NPR when an auto worker, saved from unemployment, opposed the bailout of his industry.
You need to get use to this irrationality. Accept it.

The opposition to Obama is not irrational if in their value system, a successful black President is destructive to their world view vis-a-vis maintaining racial priorities
With out first arriving at their motives and expectations we will be unable to decipher and predict their behavior.
Could be they are ignorant of the facts.
Or the are holding beliefs that lead them to believe their actions are appropriate

In all likelihood in their world view racial superiority is more important to them being employed....some would prefer to see the world end than have blacks in positions of authority and power and are often willing and prepared to kill or die in that effort.

You are a very optimistic person. You expect people to accept plain logic and math?
You actually think the people think? You actually think people think?
I am insane. Perhaps the world is insane and I understand the world?

Yes I am and do.
In this instance, I expect you to understand not those who are ignorant.
