The Finance Minister said inflation this fiscal year is going to be six per cent or less while interest rates are coming down.
Dr. Davies also pointed to the increased foreign direct investment, particularly in the tourism sector.
He said the focus will now be placed on extending the economic growth to more small and medium sized enterprises.

PM comes under fire for stance on anti-crime strategies
Prime Minister Portia Simpson-Miller is coming under fire over her stance on the government's latest anti-crime measures.
Speaking in St. Elizabeth on Thursday, Mrs. Simpson Miller argued that the anti-crime strategies should not be made public.
She expressed concern that whenever plans to combat crime are announced, criminals seem to find their way around the strategies.
But Opposition Spokesman on National Security, Derrick Smith, says that position is unacceptable.
According to Mr. Smith, the Prime Minister's concern is baseless.
The Opposition Spokesman also questioned whether the Prime Minister and the Minister of National Security have conflicting views on the public being informed of anti-crime strategies.
