Mrs. Simpson-Miller is scheduled to meet with the President of the European Union, Jose Manuel Barroso, and the Prime Minister of Belgium, Guy Verhofstadt.
She is also scheduled to address a meeting of the Jamaican Diaspora in London.

During her absence Minister of Housing, Transport, Water and Works, Robert Pickersgill, will be in charge of the Government.
