So this is it. Finally and formally discredited and abandonned...all dat Shields and the JCF has said was a bag of air.

Suh at least we can expect the Englishman Asst. Commish Shields to resign, because Jamaicans dont resign dem hold on to what they got.

Nope...I had my doubts and I recorded them from the first lights.... when it was mentioned in GD.
But my problem is really with Mark Shields and the GOJ.
I did say who he was and what I thought he was brought to Jamaica for and I am even more sure now.

There have never been any foreigner or foreign consultancy or foreigner entity that a PNP Government has brought to Jamaica that has never been part plan in furtherance of their corrupt practices.

These police and detectives must have really believed that there was a murder? It won't further anyone careers or reputations to say he was murdered, and then have it proved untrue. What do you all think really happened?

Well nothing happen!
Practice makes perfect.
Jamaica is a failed corrupt State where Services are run down almost to the ground.

The Pathology department has long been aiding and abetting State Sanctioned killings and all they need was a figured head to mouth the right phrases.

The police have been known to draw their own conclusions, make the evidence fit then make everyone else fall in line.

In this case clearly someone else saw a movie and decided to be the star. The pliant pathologist fell in line and the rest of the inept Government ran with it as well.

Well the problem is things did not quite add up and since the case took on added significance, bearing in mind that the body was not from the local stock of ready made victims of violent crimes and worse during the August occasion of the World Cup Cricketing Fiasco, the real foreign investigators got involved.

At one point the Scotland Yard had to Biz-Markie Shields to hush his damn mout for all three times-a-day press conferences he was holding.

Of course no one will lose his or her jobs over this:

not Minister of National Insecurity
not the inept Pathologist
not the real Commissioner of Police
and certainly not wunderkind Mark Hue-Men Shields.

Shields story that he was poisoned and then strangeled just doesn't make sense... does it?

People that poison are often women who know the victim. It's a crafty crime... and requires craft and implies that they know what they are doing, and they want to get away with it.

Strangling someone... now that is angry and implies that you hate the victim, and get some sick satisfaction from watching the person die... it can take many minutes, there is alot of struggle and banging around (the cops have said that a towel was used so not to show "marks"... more over analyzing). Bob was big. So the police theorize that two people came in to strangle him? There was vomit, and blood, and feces around the room (first reports said). The murderers would have left plenty of evidence of their presence in such a crime scene.

But who would "plan" such a goofy crime? Who could care that much? Who could get an accomplice to do this crime with them?

And why so many statements and denials as to how he died.
Some people in the centre of this fiasco are telling lies or they simply do not know what they are doing.

What can be said is that having all the goof-ups in Woolmers case, what can be said about the credibility of investigations by Jamaican police, coroners et al on criminal cases.

I think a killer would want to lessen his/her risks not increase them. Waiting around for a poison to take effect, then carry out so-called manual strangulation is a waste of time. Just, pizzen him, strangle him, shoot or bite him already.

I think Markie-Mark Shields saw what he thought was a movie in the making and a casting call for the Star.

LONDON: A top British Home Office pathologist has concluded that Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer was not strangled, leading daily Times of London reported on Monday.

<span style="color: #000099">Reports from the post-mortem, photographs and other material have been examined by Dr Nat Carey who has concluded the death was not from asphyxiation due to strangulation, the newspaper said quoting unidentified sources.</span>

The original post-mortem in Jamaica had concluded that strangulation of 58-year-old Woolmer was possible becuase a bone on his neck had been broken.

Woolmer was found dead on March 18 in his....

Derrick Smith, of the Jamaica Labour Party, said: “The matter has become a global embarrassment for us.”

Investigations into the cricketing background to the death are understood to have ruled out a fan or player being involved. Authorities privately say that they do not believe Woolmer was going to make any revelations of corruption.

London, May 16: The death of former Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer maybe investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) after Scotland Yard detectives concluded that he was not murdered.

Scotland Yard is of the view that Woolmer might have had a heart attack.

Jamaican cops, however, are still saying that they are treating his death as a "murder".

A police spokesman said: "We're still treating his death as murder."

Woolmer, 58, was found dead in his hotel bathroom on March 18, a day after his team crashed out of the World Cup by losing to Ireland.

Forensic and toxicology tests found a broken bone in his neck and a weed killer in his blood.

Yard detectives, according to The Sun, say that a seizure may have made Woolmer fall awkwardly, while the weed killer could have been inhaled from cricket pitches.

"A British inquest would probably record an open verdict into the death," a Yard source was quoted, as saying.

Woolmer had no enemies - Shields

A week of interviews in South Africa with Bob Woolmer's friends and family has convinced top Jamaican cop Mark Shields that the Pakistani coach had no enemies who would want to kill him.

"I get the impression that Bob Woolmer didn't have enemies," the deputy commissioner said on the eve of his departure after six days in Cape Town.

"Bob Woolmer was a thoroughly professional and likeable individual, and I've not found anyone who would say a bad word about him or stab him in the back. It's difficult establishing why anyone would want to harm a well-loved person like Bob Woolmer."

Nevertheless, Shields is still treating Woolmer's death as a murder investigation where the chief suspect was someone known to Woolmer who had strangled him to death.

Clarifying the confusion Shields said: "I have been presented with facts from a pathologist which say manual strangulation and asphyxiation, therefore I'm obliged to conduct an investigation around that.

"At the same time I am keeping an open mind ? Nothing is written in stone until we get to the bottom of the investigation."

Shields refused to say who he had interviewed during his South African visit, but confirmed that he had met two of Woolmer's closest friends, University of Cape Town sports scientist Professor Tim Noakes and Wynberg Boys High School headmaster Keith Richardson.

Shields revealed he now knew a lot more about his murder victim. "I now know a lot more about Woolmer and that's important. Understanding the victim helps us make progress.

"We've had no revelations or breakthroughs this week. But the investigation is going forward. By coming to South Africa we've completed some critical tasks."

The primary reason for his visit, said Shields, was to make personal contact with Gill Woolmer whom he described as a "remarkable woman" because "she's dealt with the tragic circumstances so well despite the fact that the media has had field day".

Although it's two months since Woolmer was found dead in his hotel room in Kingston the day after Pakistan crashed to a shock defeat to Ireland in the cricket World Cup, Shields revealed he was under no pressure from Gill Woolmer.

"Gill wants a thorough professional investigation that finds the truth no matter how long it takes," Shields said.

Those words alone should cost him his job. He shouldn't be welcomed back on the island. Finished. He is no help, and just more "part of the problem." Jmo.
