JAMAICA ANEW - We are ENOUGH!

Having read all you have said I conclude that you all love Jamaica. Use this love to build, Jamaica Anew, using the workable aspects and components of each suggestion. Rally others to join the discussions and keep on building, developing and fashioning a new workable model.

At the same time know that we all have a valid role to play as citizens of a great country. Even though some say it is presently stumbling and I agree we are. In particular in the redesign and commitment to tolerate each and everyone's input. Whatever answers we come up with know that they can all help.

Organize and collate these persons, plans and programmes then start to use this ever growing group's weight to influence our Jamaican masses - bit by bit.

Let us know it is possible - if even initially for the online community. Know it will happen in time. Know it is happening for we are doing it. Know this like you know your friend. Then take your knowing as the basis of your thoughts, words and deeds.

Should we agreed that this "Wiki" style (pooled input of the final product) of basis for going forward is acceptable (while making adjustments as necessary) then now it's time to shape this process and start the journey towards the recovery, renewal and revival of the Jamaica, land we love for the life we love.

JAMAICA ANEW - We are ENOUGH, We can do it!

TG, thanks for your post. I am glad for the opportunity to offer some clarity.

It is clear that most of us on this forum and others all love Jamaica.
This love can constructively rebuild Jamaica to what we wish it to be.
If we decided to we could very easily do something about Jamaica's situation.
This online forum and others like it can play a valuable part in making meaningful changes to the way things are done in the country.

Together all of us can play our part in these ways:
- As Citizens we can get together and form groupings around the issues of interest to us.
- Use our access to internet and other technology to helps us doing what we wish in the most cost effective manner possible (email, you tube clips, myspace sites, blogs about our position on matters).
- To help organize for us, our concerns and issues into petitions, proposals and plans of actions for future/ further development
- Submit our views and recommendations on issue that affect us
- Pledge our continuing support for the process of taking and making these suggestions/programmes influence the Citizens, Government and other relevant bodies across the country.

We could really do it. Let think about it and form such an organization to look at how to make it all happen - for Jamaica, land we love.

I agree that we could and I really think we should but from the years of reading and posting I am sure that it will not happen.
