u know wat struck mi wen i read it in di paper dis mawning..dat such a high up cop wud publicly state dat is not smaddy she wud chat to...so u mean, saying good mawning to smaddy whe wat? ...look like him...look poor like him...look young like him...etc etc etc...an if dem had him subdued, why she grab di cutlass an cut up di man...an u can imagine how him being treated in di lockup since is she him attack

is har one woman vigilante response more tolerable cause she is a woman unda di threat of rape....

behind di obvious story , is anodda telling story of di divide widdin di divide dat is yaad

mi was a wonda why shi wouldn't talk to him ..

her education and training alone should let her realize seh someone in her position is able to "meet an greet" John Public anytime ..
maybe she wouldn't want him in her personal circles ..

She lives about 11 houses from my Mom - same developement. Last summer my Mom walked with her in the mornings.

I can't/wont go into too much detail about what happened in this - but - I can say, that when she said it's someone she woudn't ordinarily talk to - she doesn't mean it in the way it might sound - she's not meaning it in an uppity way it might sound.

one used to out hang out near mi workplace...if is a day when him head tek him, u seh hello, and him start cuss a whole heap a bad wud and want fi chase u....god help u if is a day when him have him machete handy.

dem did also have a group of crackheads that used fi congregate round there too- me did try me bess nuh fi mek eye contact.

me juss a gu by sentiments expressed my jamaicans round me..for instance my mother cannot understand how me hail up everybaddy so..growing up as a child and living as an adult in jamaica..she really believed it wasn't appropriate fe har to chat to everybaddy..especially men..heck she still feel same way [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/704555_dwl.gif[/img]
