Mi used to work with a mad man. Matta a fact im get fired twice fi being crazy, but both times di union manage fi get him back in. (Then im finally get fired fi being incompetent).

Everybody hate di man, but mi one say hello to im. Caw mi know seh when, and not if, di man come inna di place fi shoot it up
im ago start wid di ppl dem weh vex him.

Re why she’s concerned people might be laughing at her ...

Well – let’s just say, due to her complex, colorful history in the community and with her neighbors, she has legitimate reason to wonder if people are laughing at her. She has lived her life, sometimes, in ways that you & I might not agree with.

Wahalla, I too am glad the attacker was successful in his mission. And while she may be in need of a neighborliness/friendliness course or two, her seemingly lack of them, pails in comparison and import, to the attempted rape.

I can say for sure - and I'm only a little bit ashamed to say so: if that had happened to MY mother or other loved one, or even just a friend, I too would've chopped the hell out of him.
