What total nonsense. You are admitting that you are going to vote for something you don't want because it is somehow in your mind less evil than the alternative.

Your vote will not be, as you posted "based on what we want".
You don't have a snowball's chance in Hell of getting anything of what you want from either of the twin parties.

To paraphrase the Rolling Stone's song you not only can't ever get what you want, you can't get what you need either. Decent healthcare, free and universal education, living wage jobs for all, decent housing for all? These are all illusions in Jamaica and reality in Cuba. These things are also becoming reality in Venezuela because the people in those countries voted out their versions of the PNP and JLP. The people in those countries unlike Jamaicans knew that change would not come from voting for the same old same old.
Cuba IS an example to the world of what a poor Third World country can do especially in regards to healthcare, education, housing, providing a crime-free environment in which to raise a family and most importantly hope for the future.

Jamaica's per capita income is higher than Cuba's yet Jamaicans do not benefit from it.

Jamaicans like those in the U.S. lack the vision and courage to make any serious change in the things that are so obviously wrong and that includes the twin parties of capitalism that will keep things as they are .

You have no right to talk about me having "stupid fantasies" thinking or more correctly, NOT thinking as you do.

Tell me this genius, what serious change FOR THE BETTER has been made by either the JLP or PNP since independence ???

And how long will Jamaicans continue to put their hopes in the hands of parties that care nothing for the hopes and aspirations of ordinary Jamaicans?

Along with the Cuban example of how to organize and run elections from the bottom up in a way that truly represent the people, you might also take a look at what Venezuela is doing to help the poor. You might not know it but Cuba has also doubled the minimum wage lately.
