Re: JLP Manifesto
PapaD, don’t follow the hype, don’t let them fool you. The only things they are wining are with the rich and powerful, the upper and middle class, those classes want no change, as they are the benefactor of this corrupt PNP Government, those who want “Na change nu corse” but the poor the struggling and especially the forgotten youth are with the JLP.
So what cultural war are they wining?
See how quiet its is around here? You don’t hear anything more about the polls and the reason why the JLP have not made a move, notice how the silence is deafening in some quarters, Read why, Quote:-
“But with the momentum going, lately, in the JPL’s favour, Johnson suggests this may be due to the fact that the lower-income earners are "feeling the brunt" of the country's economic condition. He surmises, too, that this socio-economic group would likely benefit from the promise of free education offered by the JLP. Johnson makes the telling point that working-class electors who naturally admire Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller may be preparing to "vote by their pockets rather than from their hearts".
I don’t need the polls or Johnson to tell me that. I see and hear it every day, in my walk and talk with the Jamaican, sufferers. WAlking around kissing poor people babies, claim of charisma, nice smile cannot full hungry belly, but look where the elite votes are going
Quote:- “Meanwhile, the PNP, which is traditionally viewed as the party of the intelligentsia and the professional classes, appears to have successfully energised this support base since Johnson's survey team last went into the field in mid-June.”
Please note the professional class, Doctors?
