Forgive me for being negative here....
Power 106 has switched from their awesome up to the minute updates over to Mutty Perkins, who I usually enjoy listening to.
But he is on some kick about the state of emergency being called when "things aren't too bad"...wonder if he has family he can't reach in St. Bess???
I am not in a position to call them, but if anyone else is could you please call and explain that there are a whole heap of people who would rather find out about the safety of their loved ones and worry about politics later!

I'm sending an email as well. I'm livid that we've a situation where all of us here are relying on these updates from Power 106 yet, again, our plight is being ignored by the media who, by and large, should have some form of responsibility in continuing to report on every section of the island, nevermind the foolish opinion of one person. So much for St. Bess being the so-called "breadbasket" of the country!
