bad idea.. the army teaches obdience not discipline... this is not to be confused.. you trian a man to kill what you will get is trained guys who come from an enviroment of shottas.. You thus get better shottas... -

I believe the program can work, if properly planned. However, I fear, the unintended consequence, as Wahalla mentioned. There are young men who entered the armed forces - police and JDF - simply to have what they believe to be a legitimate way of settling scores. I know two guys from high school who had that intention. I don't what happened to them both, I haven't seen them since the late 80s. It's entirely possible that this problem manifests itself in Jamaica's high incidence of police brutality.Comment
