The man who claimed that men from Tivoli was shooting @ the JDF helicopters when it was clear that is was only the police that was firing shot on that day.
The next thing @ that same conference he claimed Tivoli was the mother of all garrisons, after it was attacked by the Police and Military.
The JDF has been assaulting and killing Jamaican Citizens and not cooperating with the Investigations into those abuses, it took a Court Order for the JDF to turn over documents @ a Coroner’s Inquest into one such killing.
Look on the situation on the Coast of Jamaica, where the Haitian drug for gun trade is flourishing. What has the JDF done to stop this trade? Can they defend Jamaica’s Coast if they cannot even catch or provide any help to apprehend two men in a canoe trading illicit stuff?
The JDF has also suffered from shortages caused by the poor handling of Country's Affairs, has there been any out cry from the outspoken Rear-Admiral?
I don't see any improvement if this man is allowed to be the Commissioner of Police.Comment

Well there is a so-called Police Services Commission, which is appointed by the Prime Minister. The problem is this was under the old Administration and they could not tell their heads from their tails.
In fairness I don't think this new Administration will do any better in terms of National Security, it seems as if they have now more the political will than the last Government.Comment

Yes but the Rear Admiral became the face of oppression when he declared @ a News Conference that Tivoli was the Mother of all Garrisons.
Not only that he said men from Tivoli had shot @ the JDF Helicopter, when it was more likely that it was the police who in firing indiscriminately winged a JDF helicopter, based on the trajectory of the bullets.Comment

How come, Cliff Hughes on Nationwide AM radio had it right from the begining about Hardley getting the top cop post, especially if Hardley was not warm to the Garden people dem, knowing very well that Garden is the backbone of the JLP.Comment

Different elements @ work here. The PNP machinery is still in place, they feel it is necessary to have their personnel in key places, so a soon as the Elections were over they started flying the flags.
Lewin was/is part of the we can trust brigade.Comment
