One of the youngest women to be elected to the Jamaican Parliament, Lisa Hanna who emerged as winner of Miss World 1993 has now emerged as Jamaica’s worst performing cabinet minister. The Minister of Youth has not fulfilled her directive of protecting the youth of the nation and after one year in government has lost the confidence of not only a majority of the youth-supporting groups but also civil society. i think that is unfair... ministry of youth is a spending task deploying of resources .....she could spend the entire jamaican budget on remidial projects and not make a dent....so she has too little to spread...

Personally I think they should fold that ministry into the education ministry and save money, expand the role of schools as area youth centers ....and I think that for once the MOE has had vision after thirty years...and coming from a man who has the quote he come to drink milk not count cows! now wants to cut waste which was seen as milk drinking

and make her a junior minister outside the cabinet....
