All told there were some 19 separate lies told by Reagan and other U.S. officials in attempting to justify the invasion.
Interestingly, these lies came 20 years after the Gulf of Tonkin lie in 1963 that justified Johnson's escalation of the Vietnam War. The Grenada lies were followed another 20 years later in 2003 by the lies told to justify the invasion of Iraq.

Most astonishingly, the Americans invaded Grenada without so much as a "kiss my a-ss" to the Uk,which at the time Grenada was a sovereign state of.

Newtral,
I can't say that I remember much of any response from Thatcher on the U.S. invasion of Grenada. If she was miffed it must have been for a very short time because she and Reagan were two of a kind in being on the far right and rabidly anti-leftist.
I'll have to do some research into the UK response.
