It would be nice to know that the new currency is the USA dollar - just a dream. But, all them big prices in Jamaican dollars would just disappear to smalls.

Can't wait for term limits and set elections to come in.

Can you believe that the US would print money and supply ut to Jamaica at th ecost of printing,to be momitarized to it's face value??
I know..... the people who always wish for this don't even know about national accounting. i wonder why they don't read ipo on what they don't know about?

Be thankful Jamaica isn't using Zimbabwean currency. You get one million of theirs for one USD, so imagine the price for a loaf of bread.

Check this out: a Zimbabwe restaurant patron paying for his meal. It cost Z$6 million, roughly equivalent to C$13 (in September '07, added).

In Zim when dem bring you your check fi 6 millon and you don't pay it right away, the next time the waitress comes to your table its 8 million and if you use credit card that tek time fi swipe you end up paying 10 million.
