Thats is precisely the problem,in some cases the police are merely assasins for some gangs or individuals,and are usually used to get rid of the competition,this has got 4X all to do with fighting crime,or ridding the society of criminals.

Some policemen in Jamaica sees the force as secondary to their real business,..the kind of *business* that put proper food on their table,one place I know, the club with the wickedest reputation in the area is owned by a policeman,mek mi tell yu something...a pere gunman harbor dat deh place,its heavily fortified,only certain people frequent the place.

So when people a talk rubbish and advocate the abuse of peoples civil rights in Jamaica mi naw tek back mi talk,and there will be no apology sorry nor hush,.....cos its not just so-called gunmen that are falling victims to trigger happy police,..innocent people,and anyone who *look* a certain way are murdered.

Well that figures,....that is maybe the reason you can take the point of view you do so lightly,..you dont have to encounter a young mans brains blown all over the pavement by a trigger happy policeman,or the bullet holes in his face. </div></div>

but you know this is the view share by alot fo jamaicans both at home and abroad who feel quite secure that they will never be at the wrong end ofone of these extrajudicial rulings.

There is a soldier who I knew who related the first time he shot someone, and the remorse he felt afterwards, even though bullets were flying like sand around him.
