Streaming music from pc to stereo... (Wirelessly)

What is de best way to accomplish dis?
I am not interested in video.
I only want the music off mi pc and if mi link any internet audio or radio stations.

I've tried the linksys music bridge an tekee back twice.
I now have the D-link dsm-320 a mi yaad which look like it guh guhback tuh.

Linking these things to you wireless network etc is a great pain in de baxhide an den it look like some a dem cyaan manage fi duh exactly wah mi want when mi read de specs.

If you have it working tell me how. Reviews also seh it nuh work too good pan newer routers.

I have de traditional rca inputs a plenty pan it.
Is an A/V receiver mi a hook it up tuh.

This product is a fantastic CONCEPT, wirelessly stream audio from your computer to your home stereo! I already had a soundblaster device of some sort that i had been successfully using for a couple of years, but it was connected via usb, and optical cable, so my stereo had to be relatively close to my computer, which doesnt always work well.

I found the music bridge for sale at a going out of business sale at Compusa for about 40$, and had already been eyeballing it. So bought it and took it home to take a look at the instructions.

The instructions are pretty much useless. I have a Linksys wireless G router, which supposedly makes this installation very easy, wrong. I had to search on the internet for forums to help me figure out why it was unable to connect to my network. I followed the instructions to the letter, but they never told me I would have to go into my routers setting and actually assign the bridge an IP address. I had to get a step-by-step tutorial from a forum I found on Google. So after a couple of hours messing with this thing I finally got it to connect.

It worked!! I was streaming music! I was watching videos on my computer, and the audio was coming out of my stereo! And thats where I hit another speed bump. If you are streaming too much info on the network, your audio starts to break up. You do have the option of setting it to stream at a lower quality, but it is a noticeable loss of quality. As I used this product more, I missed my Sound Blaster more.

Randomly it would disconnect from the network, so I would have to pull up the control panel and search....and reconnect...Then it would randomly turn the volume all the way down. And I noticed that not only did my audio break up when I was playing video, but now it was breaking up when I would play music in my media player, especially when another computer was on the wireless network.

This thing was a great idea, but I re-installed my Soundblaster device as soon as I found the install disc! Linksys had a great idea here, they just didnt follow through on the details, and it shows. This was one of the most frustrating experiences I have had in a long time with a new piece of equipment, and it was supposed to be very easy. I highly recommend NOT buying this product.

The reason I was asking 'bout the connections is because I assume you know 'bout the different level inputs. (i.e.-line level, headphone level.) Another possibility is the audio video sender units off ebay. I'm using a cheap $20 to send audio video to one room. Then using another cheap IR extender to change channels. You could use the same concept on the pc to send info to the a/v unit, but you'd have to ensure both are on the same level.

Another possibility that cost some money is just get a network ready receiver. Look up the Yamaha network receivers.

Come to think of it, when I bring my PC laptop home from work, iTunes on PC works fine with the Airport Express. I'll try downloading Airfoil to the PC and see what happens with Windows Media Player too.
